Busy Saturday

Ken and I were able to go to a pruning demonstration Saturday morning. It was held at the Utah Botanical gardens in Kaysville. We got information on pruning apple, pear and peach trees and on pruning grape vines and raspberry bushes. I feel like I can prune with a purpose now--yay.

After the pruning demo, we went to the home and garden show in Ogden. It is always interesting to see what the latest things are that are available. I actually bought a back support you can put in chairs to help maintain proper back positioning. I have seen it before at the Utah State Fair, so I've been thinking about it for quite a while. So far, so good.

Monday we got our carpets cleaned. I made the appointment at the home show so we got 1 room cleaned for free. Boy did it NEED it. Now I can walk through my house without wincing at the gross carpets.

Most of our new house is tile. Except for in the bedrooms, and the living room that connects to the back door. I suspect that carpet is going to need loooots of cleaning with how dusty it is here & how often kids are in and out that door!
