Choir
The time of year for my choir performances has come. Last week we had two Messiah sing-in's. One in Brigham City and one in Ogden. Tomorrow night (Friday) we will be singing at a Catholic Church on Ogden on about 4th North and Harrison. Sunday night we sing at the Washington Terrace Stake Center. Our last one is actually after Christmas. We sing on Temple Square in SLC on the 27th. We'll be singing twice. At 5 pm at the Smith Memorial Building and at 6:30 pm in the Assembly Hall. I've enjoyed learning the songs this year. They are very nice. We are singing "Spirit of the Season, Ding dong Merrily on High, The First Noel/Pachelbel's Cannon, Mary's Lullaby, See, the conquering hero comes, Hallelujah, Amen, Jingle Bells Rock!, Behold That Star, The Virgin Mary had a baby boy, and Hark! The Herald Angels Sing." We'll only be able to sing part of these songs at Temple Square because they only allow precisely 45 minutes and it would take over an hour to sing all of them. It is fun to sing Christmas Songs.
